...probably you remember just like today those precious mornings when you decided to make fried eggs! not just fried eggs - sunny side up! you felt confident and felt you have everything it takes to make it perfect! To make that sunny morning in your pan... But one too sharp spatula.. one too hot pan.. one clumsy move and you end up your morning with scrambled eggs.. And even it is delicious you still get slightly (or even VERY) upset cause you think: that is not what I was expecting!
Well! When you stop for a minute and think about it - Doesn't sound right at all!
...so sometimes we have to be smart enough to trick ourselves! in this case just try lovering your expectations! (just so you know I'm not talking about killing it..)
Have a reminder that your brain is like a high end lawn mower that can trim your expectations to a perfect hight! USE IT :)
..... so next morning when you wake up you should know already how to trick yourself.. say I'm making omelette and start from sunny side up eggs!
